Swedish horses

At Sandkulla we conduct breeding Swedish Warmblood horses (SWB). In addition, we have had a few more horses, used mainly in tourism activity. In our breeding, we try to take advantage of the Swedish heritage and develop with just the right portions international blood. Our policy is to identify each horse’s special talent. In general, all for sale, at the right price and to the right buyer. 

Natural, organic horse management

We strive for natural horse management with loose system and a long garzing period. We believe that the family pack is the most natural with individuals of different age. All horses are used to come in the stable in boxes and stalls regularly. They are handled and trained individual and can by age and development be left alone in the stable while riding or running buddy. The farm is managed organically, ie without pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Our educational philosophy is based on simplicity and naturalness as Sally Swift, Linda Tellington-Jones, Monty Roberts, Craig Stevens and others for the development of harmony and trust under the horse’s natural behavior. That should be fun for both parties!

Our breeding

Our breeding has been an emphasis on dressage and driving. All horses are trained both for riding and driving. We try to keep the Swedish Warmblood horse’s all-round qualities. All young horses are trained in loose jumping. During basic training they works in the terrain and jump natural barriers.
